Discontinued medicines - national outage


It is the responsibility of the dispensing pharmacist to request approval from the practitioner for a substitute by calling the practitioner. 

If the pharmacy has no response from calling the practitioner, the dispensing pharmacist needs to email admin@teledocsclinic.com.au with the substitution request. 

The admin team will contact the practitioner to request a change of script. The admin team may have to book a follow up consult for you if the practitioner requests this.


Out of stock medicines - pharmacy


It is the responsibility of the pharmacy to order in the stock from the supplier/s. You need to either wait for stock to arrive in the pharmacy or choose a different pharmacy.

Change of mind


If you change your mind about the medicine/s you have been prescribed by one of our prescribers, you will need to book a follow up consult to obtain a new script: https://teledocsclinic.com.au/locations  Do not contact TeleDocs Clinic to notify us you have changed your mind.


Practitioner unavailable and national outage


If you have been prescribed an out of stock medicine/s by a practitioner who no longer works at TeleDocs Clinic, you need to contact the admin team at admin@teledocsclinic.com.au to request a change to your script. The admin team will request another practitioner to issue a new script.


2 week review


If the pharmacy is out of stock of your medicine/s and you want to change your script and it has been over 14 days since your last consult, you will need to book a follow up consult to obtain a new script. Book a consult from our website: https://teledocsclinic.com.au/locations 


You need to have a 2-week consult in the following circumstances:


1. After a change of script

2. After your initial consult at TeleDocs Clinic
